Hello readers! A number of years ago, I wrote this fun blog post about some true confessions of my mild life. It was a fun article, and today happens to be “True Confessions Day,” so I thought maybe it was time to revisit the topic.
Here are more true confessions of my mild life:
- I once got stung on the foot by a scorpion. It felt like I had stepped straight down on a needle.
- I hate to admit it, but I use “girl math.” So silly, but sometimes it makes perfect sense.
- Unpopular opinion: chocolate cake isn’t all that good. I love chocolate, just not chocolate cake.
- Last year, I bought the greatest hits CD for Huey Lewis and the News.
- Even though it was many years ago that I graduated from high school as a valedictorian, I still like to drop it in conversation…or a blog post.
- My kids and I like to roast marshmallows over the stove.
- With the exception of American football, I rarely watch all that much TV. Therefore, I’m clueless about all sorts of pop culture references and inside jokes from shows such as The Office, How I Met Your Mother, Bridgerton, etc.
- However, one show that I’ve adored watching on Netflix over the past few years is Never Have I Ever.
- The lid on our top loader washing machine is see-through, so I like to just sit and watch the laundry get washed. It’s a complete waste of time, yet so mesmerizing.
- “Pizza bones.” That’s what I call the crust of pizza once all the good stuff has been eaten.
- Despite writing on this blog for over ten years, I do not consider myself a writer.
Do you have any mild confessions you want to share? Feel free to tell us all about them in the comments.
As always, thanks for stopping by ❤
Thank you!
