Hello readers! A number of years ago, I wrote this fun blog post about some true confessions of my mild life. It was a fun article, and today happens to be “True Confessions Day,” so I thought maybe it was time to revisit the topic.

Here are more true confessions of my mild life:

• I once got stung on the foot by a scorpion. It felt like I had stepped straight down on a needle.
• I hate to admit it, but I use “girl math.” So silly, but sometimes it makes perfect sense.
• Unpopular opinion: chocolate cake isn’t all that good. I love chocolate, just not chocolate cake.
• Last year, I bought the greatest hits CD for Huey Lewis and the News.
• Even though it was many years ago that I graduated from high school as a valedictorian, I still like to drop it in conversation…or a blog post.
• My kids and I like to roast marshmallows over the stove.
• With the exception of American football, I rarely watch all that much TV. Therefore, I’m clueless about all sorts of pop culture references and inside jokes from shows such as The Office, How I Met Your Mother, Bridgerton, etc.
  • However, one show that I’ve adored watching on Netflix over the past few years is Never Have I Ever.
• The lid on our top loader washing machine is see-through, so I like to just sit and watch the laundry get washed. It’s a complete waste of time, yet so mesmerizing.
• “Pizza bones.” That’s what I call the crust of pizza once all the good stuff has been eaten.
• Despite writing on this blog for over ten years, I do not consider myself a writer.
