Here’s a sort of poem in free verse for today. When my heart speaks, I listen and write.

The world is an amazing and beautiful place.
God is great, grand, and magnificent.
Life is a miraculous adventure with many forks in the road.
Good conversation is flowing, swirling energy.
Happiness is little things and big things and things in-between.
Friendship is a valuable and sacred gift.
A hug is healing warmth shared by the soul.
Love is a wondrous sort of madness.
I am renewed, blessed, and grateful.
And I cannot stop smiling.
Today is a good day.
