Travel Poem

Traveling

Passport in hand,
the World at my feet.
Where should I go?

Maybe I'll...
Hop on a plane to the balmy beaches of Fiji...
Board a train in Scotland to see the Highlands...
Sail the clear waters of the Greek Isles...
Take a road trip from California to Massachusetts...
Ride a horse in Wyoming...
Bike the scenic streets of Vienna...
Enjoy a romantic stroll in Paris..

Funds are low...
Stay home and explore my own city.

So, I love to travel and thought I should try to write a poem about it. Looks like I should stick to traveling and leave writing poetry to someone else! In all honesty, though, I really would love to do all of the above things. I have seen some of Scotland with my cousins, but not the Highlands…yet. I have indeed enjoyed a romantic stroll in Paris with my husband, along the Seine River within view of the Eiffel Tower. It was magnificent! Très magnifique!

As always, thanks for stopping by. ❤
