As a book worm, a somewhat sad reality is that I’ll never get to read all of the books I want to read in this life. There are just too many books, and there just isn’t enough time. First world “problem,” right? My Goodreads list keeps getting longer and longer, as well as the list on my public library account. What’s a word nerd such as myself to do?
Here are just some of the books I’m hoping to read within the year (apologies for not including links for them), in no particular order:
- The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins
- The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze and Other Stories by William Saroyan
- Scrappy Little Nobody by Anna Kendrick
- The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom
- The Happiness Project #1 by Gretchin Rubin
- Titanic: Voices from the Disaster by Deborah Hopkinson
- Born to Run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen by Christopher McDougall
- Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by JK Rowling
- All the Names by Jose Saramago
- Dear Photograph by Taylor Jones
- All the Words Are Yours: Haiku on Love by Tyler Knott Gregson
- Life Itself: A Memoir by Roger Ebert
Do you have any books that I should consider? Thanks for stopping by! ❤
The Girl on the Train was really good! I want to read her other book, Into the Water. Good luck with all of your books – they sounds like great selections!

Thank you! As a mom of 2 young kids, it’s hard for me to find time to read. 🙂

You are creating two readers in your children! Tell me about the 5 people you meet in Heaven book. I’ve heard of this before. You have my attention!
