Yesterday was the Two Cities Marathon and Half and I ran it! Well, I suppose I should be honest and clarify that I walked and ran 6 miles of it as part of a relay with my friend, Courtney. (By the way, make sure you check out her blog at Raising an Only.) Neither one of us had ever run a marathon and so it was a great accomplishment! We went into it without any expectations for setting records or even trying to place, which I feel made it much more enjoyable. My good friend, Karen, who has helped contribute to my blog as a guest writer, convinced me to sign up and start training for it. Below are some photos.
